This pair of sconces in a dining room was created from leftover wood scraps and black iron pipe fittings, each with a pair of tubular low-wattage vintage bulbs. They are equipped with on/off touch controls to illuminate them with just a brush of the hand.

Double Rolling Door Hardware + Parallelism Handles
I fabricated and installed rolling hardware and custom handles for bi-parting doors between a master bedroom and master bath in a new home in Prescott, Arizona.
Charging Station
Reclaimed barnwood was used to craft a charging station for phones and tablets in the dining area that is also a hanging spot for kids’ backpacks.
Channel Sconce
I designed and fabricated a set of wall-washing exterior sconces that use the simplicity of a length of steel C-channel combined with a single LED standard-base bulb. The low humidity of the Arizona high desert will allow the raw steel to slowly develop a patina over time at this beautiful new home in Prescott, Arizona.
Pallet Wall Timelapse
Another element of the Schultz house takes shape – a pallet wood wall for the dining room. I love wood – especially wood with such variety and unique rough character as pallet wood. I’ve started parting out pallets in advance, and storing the wood in a dry storage locker. That meant this was a quick install – only offsite work was ripping the boards to four different widths on the table saw.
Trestle Table Timelapse
Just a 25-second timelapse of part of the construction of the Trestle Table.

Orb Lamps for Overland Journal
In another phase of Anastasis’ designs at the Overland Journal headquarters, I installed three globe-like pendants created from barrel hoops. We found three very cool pulleys and used a combination of rope and chain to hang them from the ceiling. Finished off with vintage cloth-covered twist cord and three different “edison” bulbs from Brooklyn Bulb Co.
Werklight Fixtures

These bare-bones hanging fixtures were created specially for Revised in downtown Prescott, Arizona, repurposing basic exterior lampholders that the previous tenant left behind. These fixtures accept any standard bulb, but these are outfitted with LED daylight-temperature floodlights for true color rendering over the work table where CeCe Caldwell’s paints and techniques are demonstrated in the shop.
I will be making some variants of these for sale in Revised, or contact me for purchase info.
Box Shelves
I had the idea to create box shelves as a more open, modern alternative for my client who didn’t want upper cabinets in her very industrial kitchen. The kitchen walls are tiled from the counter up to the ceiling, so the open backs of the boxes allow this subway tile to be seen. These irregularly sized boxes are a fusion of square steel tube and reclaimed wood.

Dark wax was used to create a rich tone on the outside surfaces, which contrasts with the freshly-sawn interior surfaces which are illuminated by LED ribbon. Though labor intensive, these shelves pack a visual punch that’s hard to beat.
